Netflix: 2019 Recommended TVs

{Easier, Better, Faster}

The Challenge

Netflix is launching a partnership with popular TV brands aiming to deliver a premier experience by enabling faster performance, easier app access, and new features. The goal is to build “A Smarter TV”!

The Approach

The focus was emphasizing the core experience being offered and distilling it down to three key terms: Easier, Better, Faster

Due to Netflix shifting timelines, we were tasked with delivering the landing pages within weeks of the original ask.

My Role

I lead the interaction and motion design of the website. I also designed the marketing strategy as an extension of the landing page to engage the audience.

Working with an agile team of two designers and one developer allowed us the flexibility to work faster and leaner. Delivering an animated version of the site to the developer was useful to bring the vision to life.

The User Experience

The UX of the site focuses on a clear narrative of what makes a TV recommended by Netflix truly special.

Spreading the word.

We designed a social media campaign that’s energized.

To get people excited about Netflix’s recommended TV, an instagram campaign was spun out of the 3 key terms: Easier, better, faster.

 

Key Takeaway

Our efforts for Netflix payed off within an increased traffic of 23% compared to the previous year.

With a short timeline this project pushed my abilities to work fast and deliver a quality product.
